Sac SOUP is a community-focused organization inspired by the values of “The Poor People’s Campaign.” We provide essential resources, advocacy, and support at both local and statewide levels. Serving as an umbrella organization, we collaborate with numerous community partners, including the Sacramento Homeless Union, to champion advocacy and civil rights issues. Our network offers assistance with clothing, food, and system navigation, addressing critical service gaps that often leave individuals unsure of where to turn. Additionally, we partner with lawyers and specialized groups to support needs such as immigration and eviction cases. At Sac SOUP, we envision a Sacramento where all community members have access to safe, permanent housing, essential resources, power, and dignity, working together to foster a just, equitable, and livable society.
